Experience
I have worked with students in a variety of academic environments. I was an elementary schoolteacher for 5 years. I have been a K-8 tutor and piano teacher for over a decade. My most recent endeavor was teaching middle and high school band. I love to help students reach their full potential by working with their gifts and individual learning styles. I use a variety of teaching methods from hands-on materials to songs and visualization. The most important part of my job is to get to know each student so I can tailor our sessions to his/her specific needs. I can meet at the library, coffeehouse, bookstore, or your school.
