Experience
I taught middle school literacy for 4 years, 4th grade literacy for 2 years, Special education teacher for the twice-exceptional for 2 years, and currently I create, support, and collect data for interventions to help students be successful in academics and behavior K-8. I also teach the English language development block. In addition to working in a school, I am a part of the Colorado Department of Education Twice-Exceptional Cadre. We offer professional development to schools all over the state to support their work with 2e students. I love working with students who are struggling or need to be appropriately challenged. I am excited to tutor in order to be able to transition out of the school setting to have the flexibility to be home more with my daughter and son.
